In this role, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with community members through door-to-door outreach and canvassing efforts. Duties Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to promote our programs, services, or fundraising initiatives Engage with community members in a friendly, professional manner to explain our mission and gather support Utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to address questions and overcome objections Maintain accurate records of interactions, including contacts made and responses received Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize engagement Assist in telemarketing efforts by following up with potential supporters or donors as needed Represent the organization with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude at all times Skills Proven experience in supervising or leading outreach teams is a plus Strong background in marketing, sales, or customer service environments Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse communities are highly desirable Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for engaging conversations Ability to negotiate and persuade while maintaining professionalism and respect Experience in door-to-door canvassing or telemarketing enhances effectiveness in this role Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques can boost campaign success Outstanding interpersonal skills combined with active listening capabilities Join us as a Canvasser and become a vital part of our mission-driven team!
