This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, connecting with people, and building relationships within local communities. The Direct Sales Representative will spend the majority of their time engaging directly with residents, educating them on the benefits of high-speed fiber internet, generating interest, and closing new customer sales. This is a field-heavy role suited for someone with strong persuasion skills, a competitive mindset, and the ability to manage their own territory and pipeline. Responsibilities Knock on doors and engage residents with confident, personalized sales conversations. Educate prospective customers on the advantages of fiber internet, including speed, reliability, and overall value. Identify and qualify leads, then guide prospects through the sales process to close new business. Consistently work toward weekly and monthly sales goals. Host or participate in local events and community meetups to generate awareness and interest. Build relationships with neighborhood associations, business owners, and local community contacts to support referrals. Partner with marketing to support local campaigns, promotions, and sales materials. Help prepare communities for network rollout by educating residents, gathering feedback, and supporting a smooth customer experience. Maintain accurate CRM records, track customer interactions, and use performance insights to improve territory planning. Travel frequently throughout assigned neighborhoods and territories. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of successful door-to-door, direct field sales, or outside sales experience. Experience in ISP, telecom, technology, or related sales environments is preferred. Proven ability to exceed quotas through persistence, follow-up, and creative problem solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and customer needs. Strong organization, time management, and pipeline ownership skills. Comfortable spending most of the week in the field and traveling throughout assigned territories. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and mobile sales tools preferred. Entrepreneurial, resilient, coachable, and motivated by goals and growth. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not required. Compensation Base salary plus commission structure. Total compensation is designed to reward strong sales performance.
