This is a paid, part-time seasonal role for someone who is organized, driven, and deeply committed to Democratic values. As our Field Organizer, you will recruit and manage volunteers, run door-to-door canvassing operations, oversee phone and text outreach, and make sure our voters turn out on Election Day. You will work directly with campaign leadership and be the engine behind our voter contact operation. Responsibilities Recruit, train, and manage a team of campaign volunteers Plan and lead canvassing shifts across South Santa Barbara County Manage volunteer sign-ups and event listings through Mobilize Oversee voter contact operations and ensure all data is logged accurately in PDI Track tasks and coordinate with staff using Asana and Google Suite Report daily and weekly voter contact numbers to the campaign director What we are looking for: Prior experience in field organizing, community outreach, or a similar leadership role Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with PDI, Mobilize, Asana, or the Google Suite is a plus; we will train you on all of them Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Santa Barbara County Availability on weekdays, weekends, and evenings as needed Spanish fluency is a plus but not required We are committed to building a team that reflects the full diversity of Santa Barbara County and strongly encourage people of all backgrounds to apply.
