Duties Conduct canvassing campaigns to introduce our organization's mission and programs to community members Engage residents with enthusiasm, clearly explaining the purpose of our outreach efforts and answering questions Collect feedback and gather contact information to build a strong network of supporters Utilize effective sales techniques, including negotiation and persuasion, to encourage participation or donations Maintain detailed records of interactions, outcomes, and follow-up needs for each contact Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach plans and share best practices for maximum engagement Represent the organization professionally at all times, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Requirements Proven experience in supervising or leading teams is preferred but not required; strong leadership qualities are a plus Background in marketing, customer service, sales, or telemarketing enhances effectiveness in this role Bilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with diverse communities effectively Previous experience in door-to-door canvassing or fundraising is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport quickly Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, records, and follow-ups efficiently Ability to stand, walk extensively outdoors, and work flexible hours as needed This paid position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in sales, community outreach, and public relations.
