Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Political Canvasser and play a vital role in engaging communities and promoting civic participation. In this paid position, you will actively connect with voters through door-to-door outreach, phone calls, and community events. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and ability to persuade will help build support for important initiatives and candidates. Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage residents and share information about political campaigns or initiatives Make outbound calls and conduct telemarketing efforts to reach potential supporters and gather feedback Distribute campaign materials and informational literature in neighborhoods and at community events Engage in active conversations with voters, answer questions, and address concerns with professionalism and clarity Utilize bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse community members Assist in organizing and participating in fundraising activities to support campaign efforts Maintain accurate records of voter interactions, survey responses, and outreach progress Requirements Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus but not required; eager to learn and grow in a team environment Strong marketing, customer service, or sales background preferred; ability to connect with people is essential Experience with door-to-door canvassing or telemarketing is highly desirable Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are a significant advantage for reaching diverse communities Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively persuade and motivate supporters Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various outdoor settings Reliable transportation for traveling within assigned neighborhoods or areas This paid opportunity is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about civic engagement, politics, or community service.
