Description:
The Mrvan for Congress Campaign is seeking Field Organizers to help execute our organizing plans for the 2026 election. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a volunteer or staff on a political, issue, or advocacy campaign, experience using VoteBuilder, Microsoft Suite/Google Suite, and strong communication skills. This position reports to the Organizing Director and works closely in collaboration with other staff and volunteers in executing duties and supporting the day-to-day operations of the field program. Duties include, but are not limited to: Recruit and train volunteers to conduct direct voter contact. Coordinate volunteer events that connect with voters in a meaningful way and grow our team of core volunteers and supporters. Utilize a number of tactics and tools to hit daily and weekly metric goals including but not limited to phone recruitment, texting, high-traffic canvassing, canvassing and tabling. Work closely with existing and new volunteer leaders to develop long-lasting organizing strength across the assigned turf. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
In addition to the skills necessary to perform the above activities, the following skills are required: Previous campaign experience as staff or volunteer preferred but not required. Local ties and experience organizing core communities is a plus. Experience using VoteBuilder and MiniVAN is a plus. Willingness to work across the district. Willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary, especially close to Election Day. Flexible, adaptable and solutions-oriented. Must have access to a cell phone, vehicle and ability to relocate if necessary.
