We are looking for a motivated, boots-on-the-ground Property Scout to join our team. This is a high-energy role, perfect for a "Bird Dog" or an aspiring real estate professional who thrives in the field rather than behind a desk. The Role As a Property Scout, you are the face of VHE in the local market. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, interfacing with sellers, and facilitating the physical aspects of our real estate transactions. This is a 100% commission-based position with significant upside for those who are disciplined and hungry.

Primary Responsibilities Field Intelligence:

Identify distressed properties, vacant homes, and potential off-market leads (Bird Dogging) within the Indianapolis metro area.

Seller Relations:

Travel to prospective properties to meet with homeowners and decision-makers.

Document Execution:

Facilitate the signing of physical contracts, disclosures, and legal documents with accuracy and professionalism.

Property Showings :

Conduct property walkthroughs for prospective buyers, partners, or inspectors, highlighting key features and property conditions.

Visual Reporting:

Capture high-quality photos and videos of property interiors/exteriors for our marketing and underwriting teams.

Lockbox Management:

Ensure secure access to properties by installing and managing lockboxes. Requirements Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (Daily travel within Indianapolis and surrounding areas is required). Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills. A smartphone with a high-quality camera and the ability to use mobile apps for reporting. Self-motivated with a "whatever it takes" attitude. Previous experience in real estate, door-to-door sales, or field inspections is a plus, but not required. Compensation & Benefits This is a performance-based, commission-only position. At VHE, compensation is directly tied to your ability to close deals. Earnings typically range from $500 to $1,500 per successful closing, depending on the property. There is no cap on your income potential; the more properties you identify and help bring to completion, the more you earn.
