Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Canvasser / Roofing Field Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the front-line ambassador, engaging with homeowners and business owners to identify roofing needs and promote our services. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help build trust, gather valuable information, and support our sales team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales, customer service, and inspection skills while making a tangible difference in the community. Duties Develop a deep understanding of what constitutes qualified roof damage and how to spot it from street level. Become an expert in identifying discontinued roofing materials while surveying neighborhoods. Conduct daily canvassing within designated territories and neighborhoods. Meet a daily target of identifying 50 properties displaying age-related wear, discontinued products, or qualified damage. Maintain a precise log of identified addresses and specific findings in the team's shared tracking spreadsheet. Leave a door hanger at each identified property. Leave a minimum of 20 door hangers per day on homes with qualified damage. Maintain organized and accurate records of daily activity. Attend weekly meetings with management to review goals, performance, expectations, and territory assignments. Represent Professional Roofing Solutions in a professional manner at all times. Requirements Previous supervising or leadership experience is a plus, especially in canvassing or sales roles Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Comfortable working outdoors and driving throughout assigned territories. Basic computer and spreadsheet skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred What We Provide Training on roofing systems, storm damage identification, and discontinued roofing products. Performance Incentives Preferred Qualifications Experience in canvassing, sales, roofing, construction, inspections, insurance restoration, or customer service is a plus but not required.
