Grassroots Fundraiser with Planned Parenthood

Greylock Campaigns is seeking passionate individuals to join us as a Grassroots Fundraiser in Boston. You'll have the opportunity to engage directly with the community, develop professional communication skills, and advocate for reproductive rights with Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts. Reproductive rights are under attack. Last year, President Trump and his allies in Congress passed a bill that defunds Planned Parenthood, blocking patients across the country from accessing affordable reproductive and sexual health care. We know that defunding Planned Parenthood is as unpopular as it is dangerous, which is why Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts is fighting back through organzing, advocacy and legal action. Greylock Campaigns is running a grassroots campaign in the greater Boston area, engaging communities and building long-term support for Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts. Top candidates will be considered for advancement and leadership roles.

Responsibilities :

Canvass neighborhoods to educate the public about Planned Parenthood Sign up donors for Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts Participate in issue briefings and skills trainings The ideal candidate: Is passionate about reproductive health Has strong verbal communication skills Is resilient and able to remain motivated in the face of challenges Is eager to learn new skills and receptive to feedback Keywords - health, healthcare, reproductive rights, reproductive freedom, fundraising, canvassing, campaign, political, social change, community, nonprofit, management, leadership, communications, activism, grassroots.
