AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE
| Roofing | Commission-Based Field Sales | $120,000 - $150,000+ Annual Earning Potential Uncapped Commission Structure

We're changing how homeowners think about roof care. While most companies push expensive full replacements, BarrWood Services offers proven, sustainable roof treatment alternatives that extend the life of existing materials at a fraction of the cost. We're GAF-certified full roofing contractors with five exclusive territories across Metro Detroit — and we're growing fast. Our Go Nano NuRoof treatment applies directly to existing shingles, extends roof life by up to 10 years with a transferable product guarantee, and gives homeowners a credit toward a future full replacement when they're ready. It's a smarter solution — and it sells itself to the right rep.
ABOUT THIS POSITION
You'll be working one of three exclusive territories — Oakland, Macomb, or Wayne County — introducing homeowners to innovative roof treatment technology that saves them thousands compared to a full replacement. Your primary activity in the first 90 days is residential door-to-door sales. High performers will expand into commercial accounts, partner outreach, and team leadership from there. This is a grinder's role. The best reps in this space are confident, relentless, and love the face-to-face close. If you can shake hands, tell a story, and handle objections without flinching — this territory is yours to own.
COMPENSATION
Base Commission 7.5% on all sales at par price, 50/50 profit split on everything above par Performance Tier (6+ sales/week) 10% commission — retroactive on ALL sales that week Pay Frequency Paid weekly + mileage reimbursement
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Canvass assigned residential territories door-to-door and introduce homeowners to Go Nano NuRoof treatment solutions Conduct on-site consultations, assess roof conditions, and present tailored treatment proposals Build a pipeline of prospects through daily canvassing, follow-up, and relationship management Work company-provided Meta leads and preset appointments as a launching point for territory door knocking Negotiate and close deals, collect signed contracts and deposits on-site Coordinate with production team for scheduling and client follow-through After 90 days: high performers expand to commercial outreach, partner accounts, and team leadership
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven sales experience — door-to-door, home improvement, roofing, solar, or direct sales strongly preferred Confident closer who handles objections without flinching and gets the signature Self-starter who owns their schedule and holds themselves accountable to weekly results Charismatic and personable — you build instant rapport and make homeowners feel at ease Competitive mindset with hunger for uncapped income and real advancement Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a smartphone Entry-level candidates with strong competitive backgrounds (athletics, high-volume sales) are encouraged to apply
