As a Canvasser, you'll be the face of the campaign — engaging voters, distributing literature, and sharing Toinu Reeves' vision for Michigan's future. Key Responsibilities Knock doors and speak directly with voters across assigned neighborhoods. Clearly and respectfully communicate campaign goals and key messages. Track daily voter contact data using campaign-provided tools. Work as part of a team — canvassing areas safely and effectively. Follow instructions from field leadership and report issues in real time. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the campaign. Requirements Expertise/knowledge of how to cut and assign turf in VAN is a bonus Use of miniVAN preferred. Valid Driver's License or State ID. Reliable transportation (personal vehicle preferred) Registration and proof of insurance required. Must be punctual and dependable for all scheduled shifts. Must wear campaign attire during all canvassing shifts (shirt provided). Ability to stand, walk, and engage outdoors for up to 5 hours per shift. Must be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for data entry.

Compensation Base Pay:

$20/hour. 30-35 doors per hour ( Target )

Pay Schedule:

Bi-weekly.

Hours & Schedule Weekdays:

3:00 PM - 8:00

PM Weekends:

11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Frequency as needed Professional Standards & Safety Canvassers must stay with their assigned partner or team at all times. No "no-call, no-show" absences (results in immediate dismissal). Do not enter any residence or approach homes marked "No Soliciting" or "No Handbills."
