Independent Canvasser for The Peoples Action in Detroit Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? The Peoples Action, a dynamic non-profit organization, is seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Independent Canvassers in the vibrant city of Detroit.
Responsibilities:
Conduct awareness campaigns in designated neighborhoods within Detroit. Distribute informational materials and answer questions from the public concerning tax-foreclosure. Conduct door-to-door canvassing.
Requirements:
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid car insurance. Own a cell phone for communication and reporting purposes. Proficient in using technology for data collection and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passionate about community engagement and social issues. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
