Job Description

Job description: Kolehouse Strategies is a dynamic political consulting firm with a desire to help elect candidates, pass important legislation and initiatives while developing its employees for the betterment of our communities. We specialize in coordinating door to door canvass programs, petition signature collection, membership involvement efforts, and campaign management. We are currently partnered with a ballot issue committee to qualify an issue for the November General Election to make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Kolehouse Strategies is looking for energetic, outgoing, and accountable individuals to collect petition signatures for this initiative by posting up in high traffic, attending events, and going door-to-door throughout the Lansing and East Lansing areas.
  • Work in a team oriented environment with an established community outreach organization!
  • Ideal candidates have great communication skills, a strong work ethic, and are available to work full time.
  • Shifts are available Monday - Saturday. Overtime will be paid for those who work over 40 hours per week.
  • Future work and advancement opportunities for those who perform well.
  • Please note this job is primarily performed outside and is not weather dependent.
  • Canvasser hourly rate is $20/hour plus daily per signature bonus opportunities.
  • Field Manager hourly rate is $22/hour plus daily per signature bonus opportunities.
  • Individuals who help drive teams are reimbursed at 72.
