Join our dynamic team as a Political Canvasser and play a vital role in engaging communities and promoting important political initiatives with a non partisan political non profit. In this paid position, you will actively connect with voters through door-to-door outreach, leveraging your communication skills to inform, and motivate community members. Your energetic approach will help build awareness, gather support, and foster meaningful conversations that make a real impact on local and national levels. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in canvassing, customer service, and grassroots organizing while contributing to causes you believe in. Responsibilities Conduct door-to-door outreach to engage residents and share information about absentee voting. Use technology to perform 30 second surveys to registered voters for a direct list. Promote voter registration efforts and encourage community participation in upcoming elections. Maintain accurate records of interactions, including supporter details and feedback collected during canvassing sessions. Collaborate with team members to coordinate outreach efforts and achieve goals. Represent the organization positively by demonstrating professionalism, active listening, and respectful engagement at all times. Requirements Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for community engagement. Have a vehicle and a smart phone. You're welcome to work with a buddy. Will train and we will work with you until you are comfortable.
