In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador, engaging with community members through door-to-door canvassing, promoting our organization's mission, and building meaningful connections. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive awareness, foster relationships, and support our fundraising and marketing efforts. Duties Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce our organization's programs and initiatives Engage with community members in a friendly, professional manner to gather support and feedback Promote fundraising campaigns and solicit donations or commitments in person Utilize effective communication skills to explain our mission and answer questions clearly Maintain accurate records of interactions, including contacts made and responses received Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach approaches and improve engagement tactics Follow up with potential supporters through telemarketing or scheduled visits as needed Experience Prior experience in canvassing, sales, or customer service is highly desirable Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing outreach teams or volunteers Bilingual abilities are preferred to connect with diverse communities effectively Strong communication skills, including negotiation and active listening, are essential Experience with telemarketing or fundraising campaigns will be advantageous Ability to work independently and stay motivated during door-to-door activities No formal experience required; training will be provided to ensure success in the role
