Job Description

To Apply for this Job Click Here Our client, a Brooklyn-based consulting firm, is seeking 10-15 Temporary Part-Time Coordinators to canvas within communities across their network. The locations include The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Harlem, occasional lower Manhattan, and Staten Island. This consulting firm is dedicated to elevating strong candidates into public office and promoting greater opportunities for students across the country. Through high-caliber professional support, they empower smaller candidates and schools to drive significant change. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to lift up the underdog and create pathways for lasting impact! Coordinators must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week and be able to commit to 5 hour shifts. This role starts as soon as the week of April 20 th . Compensation is $25/hour + MetroCard stipend for commuting
Responsibilities:
Identify ideal locations to engage with parents (parks, supermarkets, churches, schools, door knocking, etc) Become an expert on your assigned zone, keeping a pulse on community events and forming relationships with community leaders Communicate a compelling message that articulates information about the school, its offerings and the application process Persuade parents to take actions that lead to student enrollment Collect information from potential applicants and meet daily student recruitment lead generation goals Maintain accurate data and report on daily metrics Comply with school's goals, messaging, and safety protocols (including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines)
Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, or Mandarin preferred Available to work at least three days per week in five-hour shifts Positive, energetic, and mission-driven attitude Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with others A1454726NY-Temp_1779898036 To Apply for this Job Click Here
