Job Description
We are seeking friendly, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our Community Connection Program. This flexible, remote opportunity allows participants to earn supplemental income by engaging in positive phone conversations with incarcerated individuals seeking meaningful connections with people on the outside. All members of the LGBT+ Community are warmly welcomed as well as all minorities! We love to work with everyone from all backgrounds! This is an independent contractor position that allows you to create your own schedule and participate as much or as little as you'd like. Responsibilities Participate in introductory phone conversations with program participants Maintain respectful and enjoyable communication Provide positive conversation, encouragement, and companionship Follow all BATB program guidelines and policies Communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences Compensation $15 for each completed 15-minute introductory call Flexible participation schedule Monthly performance bonuses available Work remotely from anywhere with phone service Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Strong communication and listening skills Reliable phone access Valid email address Professional, respectful, and dependable Comfortable speaking with people from diverse backgrounds Ideal Candidates We're looking for individuals who are: Friendly and outgoing Compassionate and non-judgmental Excellent listeners Dependable and professional Interested in making a positive impact in someone's life Additional Information No prior experience is required.
