Full Job Description Job Summary:
Garrison™ (Flood Control) Systems, LLC. is the industry leader in comprehensive flood control and mitigation solutions. We are one of the largest and fastest-growing flood control companies in the United States, offering a complete line of flood barriers and water diversion systems. Our products were specifically developed to address the flood protection requirements of a wide range of clients, including homeowners, businesses, residential and commercial property managers, municipal public works departments, facility managers, and emergency service divisions. Garrison's flood prevention products are available for sale both throughout the United States and globally. This is a field-based position for candidates residing in Southwest Florida. Occasional visits to our office headquarters in Pompano Beach, FL will be required.
Job Description:
Sales Canvasser We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated, goal-driven, energetic, and detail-oriented Sales Canvasser to join our rapidly growing sales team in Southwest Florida.
THIS IS A SALES OPPORTUNITY WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR RAPID UPWARD CAREER ADVANCEMENT AND UNLIMITED INCOME!
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess great interpersonal skills, have a "hunter" sales mentality and be a quick learner. Previous door-to-door sales, marketing, or canvassing experience in industries such as solar, windows & doors, roofing or insurance is highly preferred. You will be responsible for door-to-door, residential, or commercial outreach in assigned coastal and high-risk flood prone areas. You will educate property owners on their flood risks using publicly available address data through FEMA Flood Maps, survey property for vulnerable areas, discuss Garrison's flood protection solutions, generate leads, and set appointments for flood protection assessments. Key duties include conducting on-site property measurements, taking photos and video, and explaining product benefits.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Neighborhood Canvassing:
Proactively walking assigned, high-risk, or flood prone neighborhoods to engage property owners directly.
Lead Generation & Assessment:
Identifying properties requiring flood protection through proprietary apps and public access to FEMA Flood Maps, educating property owners on the various types of flood mitigation solutions available through Garrison, and securing appointments for specialized on-site or virtual assessments, or close deals directly.
Technical Documentation:
Recording detailed property measurements, taking on-site photos and videos, and documenting structural details for quotes.
Customer Education:
Explaining the financial and safety benefits of flood preparedness, flood risks, preventative products and assisting in the clients flood mitigation plan. Present and promote our products and services effectively, highlighting their benefits to potential customers.
Data Entry:
Adding detailed notes, property and client data, leads and sales activity to HubSpot CRM System. Utilizing QuickBooks and Garrison's proprietary Quoter App for developing and sending client quotes.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge: Excellent verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal abilities. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Resilient, competitive, and coachable. Ability to work on foot for extended periods in Florida's climate. Previous door-to-door, marketing, or canvassing experience is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Valid and clean driver's license and reliable vehicle. Fluent in written and spoken English. College degree, High school diploma or equivalent. HubSpot CRM and QuickBooks experience a plus.
