As we continue to expand into new markets, we are building a world-class canvassing program that generates high-quality opportunities for our sales team and fuels company growth. We are looking for a motivated, competitive, and results-driven Canvassing Manager to lead, develop, and grow our canvassing team. Position Overview The Canvassing Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and managing a team of door-to-door canvassers whose primary objective is generating qualified in-home fence estimates. This role is accountable for team performance, appointment generation, recruiting efforts, field coaching, and creating a winning culture built on accountability and results. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys developing people, and wants to directly impact company growth. ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership Recruit, hire, onboard, and train canvassers. Conduct daily team meetings and field kickoffs. Develop and maintain a positive, high-performance culture. Hold team members accountable to activity and performance standards. Conduct regular ride-alongs and field coaching sessions. Performance Management Monitor appointments generated, sit rates, and sales outcomes. Analyze team performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Create and execute strategies to increase lead generation efficiency. Track KPIs and report results to leadership. Training & Development Train canvassers on scripts, objection handling, and appointment-setting techniques. Develop new team members into top performers. Continuously improve canvassing processes and best practices. Ensure all team members represent the company professionally. Operations Coordinate canvassing territories and schedules. Ensure proper tracking of leads and appointments. Collaborate with sales leadership to maximize appointment quality. Maintain compliance with company policies and local regulations. Qualifications Previous door-to-door sales or canvassing experience required. Leadership or management experience preferred. Proven ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong communication and coaching skills. Results-oriented mindset with a passion for winning. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
