$20 USD per hour + $0.45 per mile driven About the Role Collective Solar is looking for a reliable, personable, and flexible Site Technician (Runner) to support our in-home solar consultation process. This is an entry-level field role and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, being on the road, and helping homeowners explore the benefits of switching to solar energy. Site Technicians are the face of the company in the field. You will meet homeowners in person at their properties, help them feel comfortable, gather the information needed for a solar proposal, and connect them with one of our Energy Consultants through a video call. This role is essential to creating a smooth and professional customer experience. You will be paid for your time and mileage regardless of whether the homeowner signs a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or not . What You'll Do Travel to homeowners' properties within the San Bernardino Valley . Introduce yourself professionally and represent the company in person. Connect homeowners with an Energy Consultant through a video call using your computer or large tablet. Ask the homeowner for a copy or photo of their electric bill . Inspect and document key property details needed for proposal creation, including: Main electrical panel Roof tile type Roof condition/state Take clear photographs of the required items and share them with the Energy Consultant. Assist both the homeowner and the Energy Consultant during the consultation in any way needed. Help ensure appointments run smoothly and homeowners feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout the process. Requirements Must live within the San Bernardino Valley, California . Must have a reliable car . Must have a valid and updated driver's license . Must have a computer or large tablet with video call capabilities . Must be comfortable driving locally to multiple properties as needed. Must be available to manage appointments on a variable schedule. Preferred Experience Solar industry experience in any capacity is a plus. Sales experience is a plus. Customer service experience is a plus. PM PST Weekends:

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST Because appointment volume may vary, candidates must be comfortable with a non-fixed, variable schedule .
