Job Description

GTC Energy is a growing sales agency based in Buffalo Grove, IL, specializing in customer acquisition and brand representation for leading energy providers. We partner with Just Energy to deliver energy solutions directly to consumers through high-traffic retail locations and pop-up events. Our team employs relationships-centric campaigns to educate customers, establish trust and drive enrollment in energy programs that offer value, flexibility, and support our passion for making our world a little bit better each day.
Position Overview & Responsibilities:
As an Energy Sales Specialist, you will represent Just Energy at retail stores and pop-up events, engaging directly with consumers to promote sustainable energy solutions and enroll new clients. This is a face-to-face sales role focused on brand awareness, clean energy education, and closing new accounts in a results-driven environment. Represent Just Energy at retail locations and pop-up events Engage with customers face-to-face to educate them on energy plans, pricing options, and benefits Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate energy solutions Execute the full sales process, including presentations, enrollment, and account setup Maintain a strong understanding of Just Energy products, promotions, and compliance guidelines Create a positive and professional customer experience that builds trust and brand credibility Track daily performance metrics and work toward individual and team sales goals Assist with event setup, breakdown, and maintaining a polished brand presence Qualifications & Experience Needed as the
Energy Sales Specialist:
Prior experience in sales, retail, customer service, or events is a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a face-to-face, public setting Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to earn commission and exceed targets Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed for events High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay:
$52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
