Job Summary The Legal Intern will support the in-house Legal team on a variety of corporate, transactional, and compliance matters that contribute to the growth and operation of a leading renewable-energy organization. This internship is ideal for students interested in corporate law, renewable energy markets, and the legal frameworks that support solar, wind, and storage projects. Responsibilities Assist with the review, drafting, and organization of contracts, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and project-development documents. Conduct legal research on regulatory, environmental, and energy-related matters (e.g., FERC, state permitting, interconnection rules). Support due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions. Help maintain corporate governance records, including resolutions, meeting minutes, and entity filings. Assist with document management, contract tracking, and administrative tasks that support the Legal team's workflow. Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to how legal strategy influences renewable-energy development and asset management. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Strong interest in renewable energy and corporate law. Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
