    $75,000 annually

    • Significant growth opportunity within a rapidly scaling company Position Overview Smart Safety Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, growth-oriented Sales Representative to help launch and scale a brand-new AI-powered fall protection and safety monitoring platform for the construction industry.
    This is an early-stage sales role with significant opportunity for advancement and influence. We are looking for someone adaptable, entrepreneurial, and excited to help shape the sales strategy as the company grows. Because this is our first dedicated sales role, the ideal candidate is flexible and comfortable evolving alongside the business as we determine the most effective sales processes and market strategies. Our patent-pending technology combines AI-powered monitoring with human verification to help improve fall protection compliance, reduce liability exposure, and create safer jobsites for contractors and construction companies. The role will involve a mix of:
    • In-field prospecting and relationship building
    • On-site demonstrations and customer meetings
    • Remote Zoom presentations and follow-up calls
    • Industry networking and strategic outreach The schedule will likely alternate between:
    • On-site/in-market sales activity
    • Remote work focused on pipeline management, demos, and prospecting Responsibilities
    • Generate and qualify new business opportunities within construction, roofing, industrial, and safety markets
    • Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to:
    • Roofing companies
    • General contractors
    • Insurance groups and captive insurance programs
    • Safety consultants and organizations
    • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations and pilot program discussions
    • Build relationships with contractors, safety managers, insurance stakeholders, and strategic partners
    • Maintain CRM pipeline activity and follow-up communication
    • Assist in refining sales strategy and market positioning as the company scales
    • Attend trade shows, conventions, safety conferences, and networking events
    • Help educate the market on AI-powered safety monitoring and fall protection compliance solutions Travel Requirements
    • Willingness to travel throughout the Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, California, and other select states as needed
    • Approximately 40% travel expected
    • Comfortable spending up to a week at a time in the field meeting with customers, contractors, and industry partners
    • Ability to balance in-person relationship building with remote sales activity and virtual presentations Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following:
    • Sales
    • Construction
    • Safety or OSHA compliance The ideal candidate would have overlap between all three.
    Additional preferred experience:
    • SaaS and/or hardware technology sales
    • Construction industry experience
    • Safety program or OSHA-related experience
    • Understanding of fall protection requirements
    OSHA 10, OSHA
    30, or related certifications are a plus
    • Experience with cold calling and relationship-based sales
    • Self-starter mentality with strong organizational abilities

    Pay:
    $75,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
