Pay Grade Temporary
Position Summary The CPS Energy Internship Program is designed to help meet the evolving workforce needs of the utility industry by providing San Antonio college students meaningful, hands-on experience paired with mentorship. The internship is structured to help the intern learn how work gets done in a professional environment, understand the rationale behind planning and governance practices, and build foundational skills that support career readiness. Applicants must reside in the San Antonio Metropolitan area and be currently enrolled or recently graduated to qualify. The Desktop Services intern will learn to build and configure new and used PCs for field deployment. Interns will assist Desktop and Staging teams with supporting the organization's technology needs. This will include setting up and maintaining Desktops, Laptops, Monitors and PC Accessories along with installing base images and specialized software.
