SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will be directly responsible for demonstrating and promoting the sale of NeilMed nasal, sinus, allergy and piercing aftercare products to physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, hospitals, and retail establishments. Your role will require proactive engagement with clients to understand their needs, educate them on our products, and drive sales growth. You will also be responsible for demonstrating NeilMed products at health care industry trade shows at various major metropolitan convention centers as well as resorts for smaller meetings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a persuasive sales approach, and an understanding of the OTC pharmaceutical product landscape. This role may require up to 30% travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and staff. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our OTC pharmaceutical products.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market activity, and customer interactions. Trade shows and
Events:
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences and events, promoting our products and engaging with potential customers and partners. Transport, assemble and disassemble booth display, promotional materials and product samples for trade shows. Participate in post-show evaluations to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and lead generation efforts.
Travel Requirements:
May be required to travel up to 30% of time, both domestically and internationally, to attend trade shows and/or industry events and to meet with clients.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to create effective marketing strategies and promotional materials. Collaborate with the product development team to gather insights and feedback from customers, ensuring our offerings meet market needs. Job Experience

Skills & Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in OTC pharmaceutical sales. Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and viable transportation to call on healthcare professionals. Must be able to travel by plane without restrictions on a regular basis. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to use a step stool to reach top of display booth. Professional attire, suit and tie for male and suit for female. Proficient in using Microsoft 365, CRM software and other sales tools. Must be available to travel to Northern California for 1 week training/onboarding.
