  • Part-time Position Summary WFS is currently looking for a Education Therapeutic Specialist for our Education Extended School Year Program.
This position provides classroom support to students and staff in the assigned room(s). The ETS participates in the development and implementation of the students' treatment and behavior support plans. When assigned to area public schools, this position may carry the alternate title of Therapeutic Educational Specialist (ETS) This position is a temporary summer program in the month of July. 16 hr/week position Responsibilities and Duties (full description available at https://wfspa.org/careers) Contributes to the development and revision of the behavioral plan, including developing IEP goals and objectives as appropriate, under the guidance of the mental health counselors/therapists and/or special education teachers. Ensures the implementation of therapeutic support interventions as guided by the behavior plan and/or Individual Crisis Management Plan. Assists in providing therapeutic group interventions under the direction of the mental health therapist. Completes progress monitoring documentation. Assists the team in the completion of behavior intervention plans and individualized crisis management plans. Performs daily procedural duties such as scanning, bus duty, hall monitoring, cafeteria supervision, etc., as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Education Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field Experience One year experience with child/adolescent in a clinical setting strongly preferred Licenses, Certifications & Clearances
  • PA Child Abuse Clearance, current within 1 year
  • FBI and PA criminal background clearances, current within 1 year
  • Valid PA drivers license required for SBBH positions Comprehensive Benefits and Total Rewards Package
