Duties Develop and maintain relationships with coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality businesses to grow sales opportunities. Present product offerings effectively, highlighting features and benefits tailored to each client's needs. Conduct route driving to visit existing customers regularly and identify new prospects within assigned territories. Upsell additional products or services to maximize account potential while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage pricing negotiations, ensuring profitability while meeting customer expectations. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during transportation and delivery activities. Perform merchandising tasks such as product placement, display setup, and inventory checks at client locations. Coordinate automobile transportation logistics for product deliveries, adhering to safe lifting practices and heavy lifting protocols when handling supplies. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, route plans, and order details using organizational tools. Follow safe lifting practices during product handling to prevent injury and ensure efficient operations. Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues promptly and foster long-term loyalty. Skills Strong understanding of pricing strategies and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred. Excellent math skills for calculating orders, discounts, and profit margins accurately. Proven ability in upselling products by identifying customer needs and presenting suitable solutions. Knowledge of automobile transportation regulations and safe driving practices in route driving scenarios. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and rapport. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; physically capable of handling supplies as needed. Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, team members, and management clearly and professionally. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently within a busy territory. Experience working in merchandising, route planning, or sales roles within the foodservice or hospitality industries is highly desirable.
