Job Description
UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Producer Support Representative to join the Sales and Account Management team. This role will predominantly work Monday
- Friday 8:30 am
- 5 pm with increased hours and occasional weekends shifts during open enrollment. The team is based out of downtown Pittsburgh's US Steel Tower, and this role will work onsite 5 days/week for the 6 month training period. Following completion of training and based on performance, this role may be eligible to work in a hybrid structure with 3 days in the office
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed individual sales and service goals. Support the department's sales & account management processes. Ensure producers have the tools needed to assist prospective and current members. Support external producers by assisting with any issues. Maintain a prospective individual sales book of business. Present UPMC Health Plan products to prospective/existing clients and external producers telephonically and in face-to-face encounters as needed. Answer incoming inquiries from prospective/existing members and external producers. Document inquiries in accordance with sales department guidelines. Conduct outbound service calls in accordance with departmental initiatives. Assist team in increasing overall market share by region and county. Stay proficient in UPMC Health Plan's products, sales tools, guidelines, and processes. Develop and maintain credibility in the marketplace by completing Pennie and sales license trainings as needed. Gain and log competitive information in appropriate fashion and location. Provide reports as required by sales department weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. Create and provide reports to producers as needed. Have an active role in delivering and reinforcing key communications and priorities to the producer community. Complete assigned team tasks in a timely manner. Develop and maintain training materials and conduct trainings virtually and face-to-face as needed.
