Job Description
Job Summary America's First Network Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative/Member Ambassador based in Jonesboro, AR. Your schedule will consist of a four-day, 36-hour work week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM. As a full-time MSR, you will be the sole person responsible for assisting members with their financial transactions while providing friendly, professional, personal service. Primary duties in this position include: 1. Responsible for the efficient, effective and accurate performance of member account transactional functions. 2. Responsible for the effective and professional performance of member service functions including account opening, closing, maintenance, and payroll functions. 3. Assist members with identifying products and services to improve their financial lives. 4. Ensure the security of your cash, work area and the confidentiality of member information. 5. Ensure all duties are conducted in accordance with established procedures as outlined in policy and within legal and regulatory requirements. 6. Increase new membership and loans within the credit union location. 7. Work with VP, Member Engagement to coordinate/assist with activities related to the branch. 8. Other Relationship and Outreach responsibilities. 9. Other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be well organized, detail-oriented, and accurate, with good communication skills, a general understanding of PCs with Windows-based applications, and calculators (bilingual skills are an asset). Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Previous experience in a credit union or banking environment is a plus.
