Job Description

Location and Job Title:
Membership Manager Tucson Jewish Community Center 3800 E River Road Tucson, AZ 85718
Principle Responsibilities:
To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to Lindy Lunkenheimer at llunkenheimer@tucsonjcc.org. The Tucson J seeks a Full-Time Membership Manager to lead our Membership Team. As a part of the greater Experience Team, the Membership Manager will both lead their areas and collaborate with other program leaders to enhance member service and engagement.
Schedule:
Flexibility of scheduling, with a minimum of 4 weekdays. Weekends and evenings as needed. Lead a team of 20 - 25 staff in efforts related to member engagement and enhancement of the member experience, drive revenue, and strengthen community impact. This includes member recruitment, retention, communication, and satisfaction. Lead staff training on customer service and support, with an emphasis on member engagement and providing a high-quality experience. In collaboration with the General Manager and other staff, develop strategies to grow membership numbers, enhance member experiences, and ensure the membership program supports the overall goals and mission of the organization. Responsible for scheduling membership staff for all hours of operation and special events. Also responsible for covering shifts as needed. Management of J-Play Babysitting including the scheduling of staff as well as maintaining compliance with best practices. J Play allows for two hours of childcare while caregivers utilize JCC services. Demonstrate teamwork skills by communicating effectively with a range of diverse departments regarding programming and special events. This position is responsible for relaying information to the membership staff. Responsible for working with members and guests to settle open accounts, pause and change membership types, activate memberships, and cancel memberships In collaboration with the financial assistance team, intake and process scholarship applications. Communicate with scholarship recipients and manage their accounts via CRM (Daxko). Administration of payroll for Membership and J-Play staff Represent the Tucson JCC at internal and external community events via tabling opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Prior experience in customer service or retail Prior experience supervising staff and scheduling Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite software Willingness to learn Daxko software
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates Degree in a related field is preferred CPR/AED Certification Prior experience with CRM software, strong preference for familiarity with
Daxko Compensation:
$40,000-$45,000 commensurate with experience
