We are currently seeking motivated, community-minded candidates to join our founding team as a Full-Time Member Services Representative at our upcoming Kentwood/Grand Rapids location. When we open our doors to this new community, you will play a key role in establishing the Genisys reputation for excellence. This position also includes the opportunity to earn incentive pay.

Position Purpose:

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served by performing a broad variety of member services functions in our newest market. Job Duties (include but not limited to):

Building Relationships:

Cross-selling credit union products and services to provide high-quality member service and reach credit union growth goals.

Account Management:

Opening and closing membership accounts with a focus on a great first impression.

Lending:

Performing loan transactions—from processing applications through payout—following Genisys lending procedures and guidelines.

Problem Solving:

Ensuring members' requests and questions are promptly resolved in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.

Brand Ambassadorship:

Ensuring the Credit Union's quality reputation is maintained and projected within the Kentwood and Grand Rapids communities.

Licensing:

Obtaining the appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurances.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or equivalent required. Customer service experience preferred. Sales experience preferred. Knowledge of lending processes is helpful.

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance, dress, and attitude. Strong math skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment. Solid typing and data entry skills.
