About the Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center (MAFC) The Morrisville Aquatics & Fitness Center is a state-of-the-art community facility offering a variety of aquatic and fitness amenities. It features three pools, including a lap pool and a family-friendly recreational pool, along with a fully equipped fitness center. Members can also enjoy indoor racquetball and outdoor tennis courts. Renovated in 2020, the center welcomes both residents and non-residents with flexible membership options. What You'll Do The Morrisville Aquatic and Fitness Center is seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our team as part‑time staff. This role is ideal for high‑energy team members who enjoy working with the public and contributing to a positive, welcoming facility environment. Candidates should be reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well‑run facility. Some specific examples include (this is not an exhaustive list and is only for illustration purposes Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, answering phones, processing registrations and memberships, scanning members in, and supporting front‑desk administrative tasks. Assist patrons with information about parks, programs, facility rentals, events, and Town services while maintaining strong knowledge of facility offerings. Support daily operations including opening/closing duties and helping with program check‑in/check‑out and room setup/breakdown. Process payments and registrations accurately using ActiveNet and follow Town cash‑handling policies. Enforce facility policies in a professional, courteous manner to ensure a safe and welcoming, and well‑managed environment for all patrons. Maintain facility cleanliness and general upkeep while demonstrating strong multitasking skills and comfort with basic computer programs. Of course there are always the other duties as assigned category! The Must Haves (Minimum Qualifications) Enrolled in high school or possess a GED Ability to work evenings and weekends Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to perform general building upkeep Set Yourself Apart (Preferred Qualifications) 1 year of work experience The talent acquisition goal of the Town of Morrisville is to secure and retain the most suitable applicant for each vacant position.
