This role is the first point of contact for our members and plays a key part in delivering exceptional service while supporting their financial success. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, and passionate about building strong member relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist members with a positive, professional attitudeProcess daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfersOpen and maintain member accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, etc.)Identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and servicesAssist with debit cards, online banking, and other digital servicesBalance cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction recordsResolve member inquiries and concerns efficiently and courteouslySupport branch operations and administrative tasks as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious customer service or cash handling experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracy in transactionsBasic computer skills and ability to learn financial software systemsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationPreferred SkillsExperience in banking or financial servicesSales or cross-selling experienceKnowledge of credit union products and servicesWhy Join North Star?
