The Role We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Membership Sales & Lead Conversion Specialist to drive new member enrollment and deliver an exceptional first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. This is a sales-focused position responsible for converting inquiries into memberships through consultations, follow-up, and proactive outreach. During slower hours, you will actively contact prospective members by phone, text, and email to book appointments, follow up on trials, and re-engage past leads. Key Responsibilities Sales and Lead Conversion Conduct in-person consultations with prospective members Recommend appropriate memberships and programs Convert trial participants into paying members Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email Make outbound calls to new inquiries and inactive prospects Promote personal training packages and additional services Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes Front Desk and Member Experience Greet members and guests with professionalism and energy Manage check-ins, bookings, and general inquiries Provide excellent customer service to support retention Operations Support Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym Assist with events, promotions, and community initiatives Support daily gym operations as needed What We're Looking For This role is ideal for someone who: Is comfortable initiating conversations with strangers Enjoys sales and earning commission Can confidently handle rejection and objections Is proactive and self-motivated during slow periods Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Sales experience is strongly preferred. Experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or call-based roles is a plus. Schedule Requirements Must be available weekdays 11:30 AM - 5 PM, 3-4 days per week. Weekend availability a bonus.
