  • This is an on-site position in Queensbury, NY
  • Serves as the first point of contact for clients.
Coordinates auto travel for Club members and non-members. Supports the travel team by assisting with travel arrangements, helping clients with bookings, providing administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient travel planning process, and resolving issues efficiently and courteously. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities to help create positive experiences for members. Responsibilities 1. Determines auto travel needs through personal meeting or telephone conversation. 2. Ensures members and non-members receive prompt, helpful, and professional service, both in person and through various communication channels. 3. Greets clients upon entering the branch. 4. Provides information on membership levels, benefits, and policies. 5. Verifies membership cards and maintains member information. 6. Sells memberships, processes membership applications, renewals, and cancellations. 7. Prepares and coordinates materials to assist members/clients in auto travel a) Orders/prepares TripTiks b) Prepares maps c) Gather other related materials for the destination and trip 8. Suggests and cross-sells other related items such as retail gift cards, international driver's permits, passport photos, foreign currency, theme park tickets and travel store merchandise. 9. Inventories, stocks, assembles, collates, copies and maintains products and materials. 10. Arranges car, air, and hotel reservations for member travel. 11. Assists Travel Agents with processing reservations, checking clients in for reservations, confirmations, cancellations, and itinerary updates. 12. Communicates with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and vendors to coordinate travel services. 13. Assists Travel Agents with preparing travel documents such as itineraries, tickets, and confirmations. 14. Resolves payment issues or escalate complex cases when necessary. 15. Supports Travel Agents with administrative tasks and client follow-up pre and post travel. 16. Maintains accurate records of travel bookings and client information. 17. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1. Must possess high school diploma or GED 2. Possess excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills 3. High attention to detail and accuracy 4. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities 5. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information 7. Ability to cross-sell products and services in a successful manner 8. Be proficient in computer/keyboard skills and possess ability to learn travel software 9. Able to work with money and credit cards 10. Possess general knowledge of geography and have basic ability to read maps 11. Able to work assigned hours and occasional overtime when necessary Physical Requirements 1. Able to bend, reach and do light lifting, up to 25lbs. occasionally 2. Ability to sit for extended periods 3. Ability to use standard office equipment 4. Frequent use of computer and phone systems
