Job Description

The Newtown Athletic Club is a premier lifestyle club and wellness center located in Newtown, PA. We are recognized for delivering an exceptional fitness, health, and community experience. Our mission is to improve lives through health and wellness while creating a welcoming environment that fosters a strong sense of belonging. The Member Services Associate serves as the face of the NAC, delivering world-class service and hospitality to our members and guests. This role is responsible for ensuring a welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient experience at all key member touchpoints?including check-in, service inquiries, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet members and guests with a professional, positive attitude Provide accurate, up-to-date information on NAC amenities, programs, and events Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously Handle membership cancellations in person, over the phone, and via email; work to resolve concerns constructively Actively listen to member needs and provide thoughtful, tailored responses Resolve member concerns by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and following through to resolution?escalating when necessary Perform administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling, and membership paperwork Promote NAC programs, services, and events to enhance the overall member experience Collaborate across departments to maintain high levels of member satisfaction and consistent service delivery Enforce club policies and ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and professional Consistently represent NAC values of wellness, hospitality, and excellence in every interaction
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using computers and basic software applications Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player Passion for health, wellness, and providing outstanding service
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs for light cleaning or event setup Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy fitness environment
