May 08, 2026Position Summary:
Colorado Bar Association (CBA) is hiring a membership coordinator for the CBA and the Denver Bar Association (DBA). Collaborate with the Membership and Marketing & Communications teams to track and analyze membership trends, provide exceptional customer service to our members and the public, and assist in maintaining the data integrity of our database. Assist in additional campaigns for retention, recruitment, and specialized categories related to existing members, student members, incoming attorneys, etc. Inform members of the benefits, services, and opportunities available to them as members of the CBA and DBA. Navigate websites, database, and supportive entities to answer questions from both members of the bar and the public regarding our online directory, online member community, and various legal resources.Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Membership Growth, Retention & Operations- Provide thorough and efficient professional customer service via phone, email, and web applications; ability to respond to inquiries and knowledgably direct calls for further assistance.
- Process member applications, member updates, and assist in taking dues payments.
- Assists in data management and integrity, performing regularly scheduled member audits.
- Onboarding and recruitment of newly admitted attorneys.
- Work directly with law firm administrators for group billings; includes annual roster distribution, membership updates, member profile management.
- Manage monthly reporting and distribution; includes new member reports, new section member reports, as well as rosters, financial reports, and new member reports for 25 local bar associations.
- Attendance at Swearing-In Ceremonies, Law School Events, and CBA-CLE Summer Programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Comfortability in written and oral communication to continually demonstrate professionalism.
- Experience in using database systems, data entry, reporting, and basic data queries.
- Knowledge of standard office management systems and computer software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, etc.
- Ability to manage fast past environments, work in collaboration with other teams, and multitask multiple projects.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and experience applying inclusive practices to membership recruitment, engagement, communications, and retention strategies
- Service-oriented and member-centric mindset with strong customer-service judgment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and familiarity with the following:- Windows OS
- Microsoft Suite Applications, including Microsoft Teams
- AMS and CRM platforms
- Zoom
- SmartSheets
