Key elements include building relationships, connecting clients to resources to help solve their most pressing problems, and provide value in belonging to something meaningful. You'll work side-by-side with a high-trust team based in our Salt Lake City office and play a central role in turning interest into committed membership. The Role at a Glance The Membership Sales & Business Development role is responsible for converting qualified leads into: Active, involved Crown Council members Annual Event attendees Smiles for Life participants You'll also help build and maintain relationships with Resource Partners and represent Crown Council at meetings, events, and humanitarian trips. This role is ideal for someone with sales experience, confidence on the phone, and a belief that the best sales come from building quality relationships, providing exceptional service, listening, and follow-through. Primary Responsibilities (Tasks) Lead Conversion & Sales Contact and follow up with inbound leads from webinars, the website, social media, and events Communicate with prospects via phone, email, and text to guide them through Crown Council offerings Clearly explain the value of Crown Council membership, the Annual Event, and Smiles for Life Close sales and ensure a smooth handoff into the Crown Council community Relationship Building Build genuine, long-term relationships with new members and existing members Re-engage past members and prospects through thoughtful outreach and follow-up Serve as a trusted point of contact—not a high-pressure salesperson Resource Partner Support Assist in building and maintaining relationships with Crown Council Resource Partners Help coordinate partnerships, introductions, and ongoing communication Events & Travel Participate in planning and execution of the Crown Council Annual Event Travel approximately once per month to dental meetings, gatherings, or Crown Council events Have opportunities to participate in Crown Council humanitarian trips What Success Looks Like (Outcomes) Qualified leads are consistently contacted, nurtured, and converted Membership numbers grow through thoughtful, personal outreach Annual Event and Smiles for Life participation increases year over year Prospects feel heard, respected, and excited—not pressured Resource Partner relationships are strong and well-maintained Crown Council's sales process becomes more intentional, consistent, and effective Who We're Looking For This role is a great fit if you are: Comfortable and confident on the phone Warm, relational, and a strong listener Organized, reliable, and excellent at follow-up Experienced in sales and closing Motivated by service and long-term relationships, not just closing a sale and moving on.
