- Full-time Overview The Member Services Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the overall membership experience and day-to-day operations of the Association.
This full-time position is responsible for coordinating key membership functions—including onboarding, engagement, and retention—while also providing high-level administrative support and delivering exceptional customer service. As the primary point of contact for members, this role helps ensure a professional, responsive, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities/Functions:
o Greets members/visitors warmly; provide assistance as needed. o Answers incoming calls promptly, assess caller needs, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member. o Creates a member-focused culture and models relationship-building skills in all interactions. o Fosters a climate of innovation and resolves problems to ensure member satisfaction. o Oversees the annual dues renewal billing processes. o Ensures the accurate transmission of Member dues, fees, and reports to the Board of Directors, Tennessee
REALTORS
® and National Association of
REALTORS
® o Oversees the Sentrilock program, including the annual billing process. o Ensures the accuracy of MTAR's member database and serves as a resource for questions. o Processes all incoming membership applications. o Serve as the staff liaison on for membership workgroups or committees. o Coordinates attendance of new member orientation. o Updates membership records in the database system. o Develops, improves, and promotes membership benefits. o Ensures Association Executive is informed of any membership issues. o Assists with planning and promoting membership events. o Other duties as needed/instructed Requirements o Must be attentive and creative, possess the ability to work with and adapt to all types of people. o Excellent interpersonal skills. o Organizational skills including the ability to multi-task. o Ability to take complicated information and communicate it simply. o Ability to problem solve and source information. o Accurate and precise attention to detail. o Ability to maintain confidential information. o Must be self-motivated and ability to have initiative. o Self-motivated and willing to support our small team. o Ability to work outside of normal business hours and attend association events throughout the year. o Must be able to stay on task, meet deadlines, and tolerate interruptions. o Candidate cannot have an active real estate license. o Positive and professional attitude. o Must be able to lift 20 to 40 lbs. Preferred Qualifications o High school education required. o Previous administrative preferred.
Work Hours, Compensation, Location, and Benefits:
o Standard hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. o There are occasion association events held in evenings or that require early morning set up that all team members are expected to assist with. o This is a full time salaried position. o $45,000-50,000, depending on experience. o This position is based at MTAR's office located at 311 Butler Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37127.
