This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in outside sales, marketing, and account management. The Membership Director will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives to attract new members while fostering relationships with existing ones. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and negotiation skills, along with a passion for customer service. Duties Develop and implement effective membership strategies to increase enrollment and retention rates. Lead outside sales efforts to engage potential members through networking, presentations, and community outreach. Manage the membership team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and achievement of goals. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business development within the membership sector. Utilize Salesforce and other technology tools to track member interactions, manage accounts, and analyze data for informed decision-making. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight membership benefits. Foster strong relationships with current members through exceptional customer service and regular communication. Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective members or partners to enhance membership offerings. Qualifications Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B or technology sales environments. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Demonstrated success in business development and account management roles. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for tracking sales activities and member engagement. Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and member needs effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration and drive results.
