Job Description

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a full farmers market booth — not just "help out." This is a high-responsibility role with Dumplin' by Aro, a fast-growing dumpling brand operating across Southern California. You'll be trusted to run a booth, handle customers, cook/serve food, and keep the booth moving smoothly. If you like being in charge, moving fast, and taking pride in your work, this could be a great fit. If you need constant direction, this is not the role for you. Schedule Laguna Niguel Farmers Market Market hours: Sundays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Start time: Around 6:00 AM for vehicle/inventory pickup in Santa Ana End time: Around 2:00 PM after breakdown, return, and inventory drop-off Early mornings are non-negotiable Additional fill-in shifts may be available for strong performers as we grow and as other team members need coverage What You'll Do Pick up company vehicle + inventory from Santa Ana Drive to the market and set up the booth Run the booth independently Cook, sell, and serve dumplings/noodles Handle customers with confidence and good energy Keep the line moving efficiently Track inventory and communicate restock needs Break down booth and return vehicle/inventory after market
Compensation Training:
$20/hr + tips Growth path for strong performers: $200/day solo markets Performance bonuses Additional market opportunities Priority access to better shifts as they become available What We're Looking For Reliable — no last-minute call-outs Comfortable with early mornings Fast-moving and able to work under pressure Friendly and confident with customers Able to multitask between orders, cooking, sales, and setup Takes ownership and does not wait to be told every small thing Good communicator Food service or sales experience is a plus, but mindset matters more Requirements Must live near Santa Ana or be able to reliably get to Santa Ana for pickup Clean driving record Able to lift equipment and work a full physical shift Comfortable driving a company vehicle Comfortable working independently after training This role is best for someone who wants consistent part-time work, takes pride in doing things correctly, and wants the opportunity to grow with a small business.
Pay:
$200.00 - $300.00 per day Application Question(s): This role requires early mornings, urgency, and the ability to run a farmers market booth independently. Tell us why you'd be a strong fit, and give one example of a time you worked well without constant direction.
