Entry-Level Landscape Yard / Hardscape Merchandiser

Summary The Hardscapes Merchandiser will drive a lot, visit landscape yards and contractors around Northern California / Nevada, provide great customer service, and make sure our product looks great at our dealers. CASToHN California, the distributor of premium landscape products from CASToHN, is seeking an entry-level Hardscape Merchandiser to support our Sales and Distribution team in the greater Bay Area. The job will typically start the day in Livermore, CA at our warehouse. You will drive a company vehicle with supplies and tools necessary to keep our products looking great at our dealers (typically landscape yards). You'll be replacing large items on display, some of which may weigh in excess of 100lbs. We will provide you with all the necessary tools and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, family-owned business. What you'll do Build and maintain displays, deliver marketing materials, and encourage sales of our product at our Dealers. Create, send out, and drop off small samples for customers. Talk and listen to our Dealers and their reps about needs. 25%-50% overnight travel may be required. Make small deliveries. Help monitor and refresh inventory of Castohn at dealers. What we're looking for Valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel regularly. At least 18 years of age. Ability to perform manual labor (e.g., lifting product samples, building displays). Strong communication skills and a positive, self-starting mindset. Knows how to use a smartphone. Can lift at least 100lbs without assistance. Comfortable working in varying, outdoor locations with limited physical access, like residential construction sites and outdoor storage yards. Comfortable driving and flying for at least 3 hours at a time and at least 8 hours in a day. This role covers a large geographical area. What would make you stand out: Some experience in landscape, masonry, construction supply, or building materials. Forklift experience. Working fluency in Spanish.
