Job Description

San Diego Wave Fútbol Club is on a mission to build a world class home for players and fans. We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to join our mission to share our story, win championships, increase, and delight our fans. We're making memories and engaging our community through this beautiful game. The Retail Ambassador on our Merchandise team supports operational activities to drive merchandise order fulfillment and deliver exceptional service to fans and customers. Collaborating closely with the Merchandise Coordinator, this role assists in day-to-day operations on game day, pop up events, and the fulfillment center. Duties include, but are not limited to picking, packing and shipping inventory, picking, packing and moving products for Stadium events, jersey decoration, and other duties as needed.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in Shopify to accurately fulfill customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping, as well as work on customizations and customer order pickups on gamedays Maintain accurate inventory through conducting regular cycle counts and inventory audits Utilize Shopify tools and technology to work Point of Sale on gameday and pop-up events Move and operate necessary equipment to decorate retail jerseys for customer and internal orders Ensure Shopify hardware is working properly Maintain a clean workspace and warehouse. Keep equipment and designated areas clean and organized Work in a safe manner and identify and correct hazards. Comply with safety policies and best practices Other duties based on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate well Resourceful, self-starter- works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Strong attention to detail Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, or weekends Experience with Shopify is a plus Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders as needed Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted •This is a seasonal position, with varying hours, not to exceed 30 hours per week. This role is hourly base compensation of $20/hour.
