We believe exceptional visual merchandising creates inspiring shopping experiences and tells a compelling story through product presentation. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and reliable Visual Coordinator to join our visual merchandising team. This position is responsible for helping execute and maintain visual merchandising standards across all Thread + Seed locations. The ideal candidate has experience styling mannequins, creating cohesive merchandise presentations, understanding color stories, and maintaining exceptional visual standards. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize projects while working both independently and alongside a team. The Visual Coordinator will help train associates on merchandising standards, delegate project tasks when appropriate, and ensure visual consistency throughout the company. A portfolio or photos showcasing previous visual merchandising and mannequin styling work will be required during the interview process. Key Responsibilities Visual Merchandising & Styling Style and maintain all mannequins across three retail locations. Execute visual merchandising plans, floor sets, and seasonal transitions. Create compelling merchandise presentations that align with the Thread + Seed brand. Build cohesive color stories and outfit presentations throughout the sales floor. Maintain visual standards and ensure displays remain fresh, organized, and impactful. Assist with window displays and special merchandising projects. Participate in floor moves, merchandising sessions, and visual resets. Store Standards & Operations Backstock merchandise and maintain organized stockrooms. Assist with receiving shipments and inventory flow. Ensure merchandise is replenished and presented according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in visual and backstock areas. Perform physical merchandising tasks, including lifting boxes, moving fixtures, climbing ladders, and setting displays. Team Training & Leadership Train associates on visual merchandising standards and expectations. Help maintain consistency of visual standards across all locations. Delegate project tasks as needed and support team execution. Partner with leadership teams to ensure merchandising standards are consistently met. Serve as a resource for styling and merchandising questions. Sales Floor Support Work on the sales floor when not assigned to visual projects. Deliver exceptional customer service and styling assistance. Utilize previous fashion retail sales experience to support company goals. Build relationships with customers while representing the Thread + Seed brand. Required Qualifications Previous experience styling mannequins and creating visual presentations. Strong understanding of color stories, outfit building, and visual presentation techniques. Previous fashion retail sales experience. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Ability to provide direction and delegate tasks to team members when needed. Ability to work independently and follow through on projects. Ability to travel between all three Thread + Seed locations. Ability to lift boxes, move fixtures, climb ladders, and perform physical merchandising tasks. Open and flexible availability, including weekends and early mornings. Portfolio or photographs of previous merchandising and styling work required. Minimum of three years of visual merchandising experience in the fashion retail industry required. Preferred Qualifications Previous leadership or management experience. Experience training and developing retail teams. Experience working across multiple retail locations.
