Marketplace Operations Associate (Part-Time) Do you love supporting our local economy and watching your friends and neighbors succeed in their small businesses? Do you enjoy connecting customers with unique gifts, art, food, and products made right here in the North Bay? Made Local Marketplace is looking for a Marketplace Operations Associate to join our team. This is more than a retail position. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is excited to learn the many moving parts of a locally owned business. This role offers opportunities to gain experience in retail operations, merchandising, social media, events, inventory management, and small business operations. Position Details Primarily weekends in both our Santa Rosa and Novato stores to start Saturdays in Santa Rosa (10am-6pm) Sundays in Novato (11am-5pm) Potential for additional weekday hours assisting with social media, merchandising, inventory, events, and special projects Initially working alongside the owner on Sundays, with the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility over time Responsibilities Create a welcoming and positive customer experience Share knowledge about our makers, artists, and local vendors Assist customers in finding meaningful gifts and products Operate our POS system and process transactions accurately Learn store opening and closing procedures Maintain visually appealing displays and merchandise presentations Assist with inventory management and product transfers between stores Support social media content creation and marketing efforts Assist with special events and community engagement activities Help maintain clean, organized, and inviting store environments What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Available Saturdays and Sundays Comfortable working independently Strong attention to detail Friendly, engaging, and customer-focused Comfortable with technology and learning new systems Interested in social media, photography, or content creation Organized, proactive, and resourceful Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to transport products between Santa Rosa and Novato when needed Bonus Experience Retail sales Merchandising or visual display Social media content creation Photography or videography Event support Farmers markets Small business experience Most importantly, we're looking for someone who loves community, creativity, local businesses, and helping people discover amazing products made by their neighbors.

$19.23 - $23.16 per hour Application Question(s): Are you available to work Saturday and Sunday and have reliable transportation and the ability to drive to both Santa Rosa and Novato locations(as well as Sebastopol on occasion) for shifts?
