Join the Elk Field Home Goods Team Elk Field Home Goods is seeking an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Farmers Market Vendor to represent our brand at farmers markets throughout the Denver metro area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face sales, engaging with customers, and creating memorable shopping experiences while promoting handcrafted, all-natural products. Responsibilities Saturday 6:30am to 2:00pm / Sunday 6:30am to 2:00pm Show up on time, every time and ready to work. Set up, organize, and maintain an attractive and professional market booth. Engage customers through friendly conversation, product demonstrations, and storytelling. Educate customers about our products and brand. Conduct product sampling and demonstrations to drive sales. Process transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems. Handle cash transactions and make change confidently. Maintain appealing product displays and restock inventory throughout the day. Assist customers with product recommendations and upselling opportunities. Keep booth areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Assist with booth breakdown and inventory management at the end of each market. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of face-to-face sales experience Minimum 2 years of farmers market vendor experience Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong work ethic with a commitment to reliability and punctuality Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license Proof of current automobile insurance Preferred Experience with POS systems and cashiering Merchandising and product presentation experience Upselling and customer engagement experience Supervisory experience Bilingual language skills Compensation Training Period First 4 successful market weekends: $17.00 per hour Performance Increase After successful completion of 4 market weekends: $20.00 per hour Long-Term Growth After 12 months of successful market participation: $25.00 per hour Benefits First consideration for the winter markets (after June - October) Employee discount Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding local brand Fun, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to represent high-quality local products and connect with the community About the Ideal Candidate You are dependable, personable, and genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
