Retail Merchandiser

We are looking for an upbeat, reliable and detail-oriented individual to travel to designated retailers in our Tallahassee territory to replenish product on shelves, in coolers and for displays. There are (2) schedule options 40 hours per week. One morning shift starting at 4am and one afternoon shift starting at 1pm. Hourly wage plus $0.67 per mile •Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and valid auto insurance. Duties & responsibilities: Retrieve merchandise from customer's storage location and place on shelves and in other retail display units, using a 2-wheel cart or pallet jack. Continually facing & rotating product, placing newest product on the bottom or the back of the displays/shelves. Build new retail displays. Standard displays will be build according to preset guidelines. Specialty or seasonal displays will be built with the guidance of a supervisor. Store empty cartons and damaged products for return to the plant. Keep shelving units, racks and display materials clean and free from damage. Any damaged units should be immediately reported to a supervisor for repair or replacement. Other duties as assigned. Education & experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be 18 years or older Motor Vehicle Record must show no more moving violations than are allowed by our Driver's license policy. Skills & abilities: Must have good customer service skills. Must be able to frequently lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to use basic pallet jack and 2-wheel hand cart. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Physical demands:

Repetitive lifting of up to 60 lbs. Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping, standing and walking. Work in varying job conditions including; heat, cold, damp, inside, outside. In this position you will need a reliable automobile to use to travel to/from our customers. Do you have a reliable automobile? The shifts for merchandising start as early as 4:00 AM. Are you able to start work at 4:00 AM? Do you understand that we do Federal and State background checks as we serve businesses, schools and prisons? Do you understand that we are a 100% drug free company (no marijuana use) and that we do pre-employment and random drug screens? This job requires frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, standing, turning, twisting and walking. As well as repetitive lifting of up to 60 lbs.
