Job Description
Merchandiser
- Indian Nationals (Atlanta) We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with company goals and objectives
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive merchandising strategies
- Identify new product opportunities and make recommendations for assortment expansion or reduction
- Analyze sales data to monitor performance of products and make necessary adjustments to drive sales
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products
- Communicate effectively with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Create visually appealing displays that attract customers' attention and drive sales
Requirements:
- Previous experience in merchandising or related field is required
- Indian nationality preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
