Duration:
7-Month Contract with Potential for Extension Assignment Overview Our client, a Fortune 50 retailer, is seeking a Project Analyst to support the successful execution of enterprise merchandising, capital, and store operations initiatives. Working within a highly visible project integration team, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring projects are operationally ready for field execution by coordinating data, labor, materials, logistics, and project documentation across multiple business partners. This position serves as a key link between corporate teams and field execution partners, helping transform project plans into successful in-store implementations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting large-scale initiatives with significant business impact. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of enterprise merchandising and store operations projects by coordinating activities across field teams, logistics, merchandising services, supply chain, and other cross-functional partners. Collect, validate, and consolidate project information from field partners to support planning, readiness assessments, and implementation activities. Review project requirements and validate readiness within internal project management systems, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and execution requirements are met. Analyze and interpret planograms, merchandising layouts, and project documentation to support successful store-level execution. Coordinate labor scheduling, direct-to-site shipments, material deliveries, and implementation logistics to ensure resources are available when required. Monitor project progress, identify risks or execution gaps, and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders. Support field teams by troubleshooting scheduling, reporting, and execution-related challenges throughout project lifecycles. Maintain project documentation, system records, reporting tools, and database entries to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Track implementation results and provide data-driven insights to support post-project analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Partner with project managers and business stakeholders to ensure project scope, timelines, and operational requirements remain aligned throughout execution. Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational readiness. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of experience supporting project management, operations, merchandising, retail execution, supply chain, logistics, or related business functions. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data validation, analysis, and reporting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Ability to identify issues, solve problems, and proactively drive tasks to completion with limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting retail, merchandising, supply chain, store operations, or capital project initiatives. Familiarity with MLX, MPC, or similar project execution and merchandising systems. Experience reviewing planograms or supporting store implementation projects. Exposure to AI-enabled productivity tools and process automation technologies. Experience supporting cross-functional teams in large enterprise organizations.
