They jump on merchandising requests fast, source and order equiptment for fixtures, and make sure everything gets tracked and wrapped up like a true organizational wizard. They also wrangle vendors to keep projects moving, pull together the data everyone needs, and dream up process improvements that make life easier, cheaper, and a whole lot smoother for our customers and teams. - responding, completing, and tracking them before they know what hit 'em.
Build strong, reliable vendor relationships, so shelves stay stocked, products are always available, and everything goes off without a hitch. Orchestrate vendors and internal teams on completing projects. Think conductor, but with fewer violins. Spec and quote out equiptment, fixtures, and supplies to be ordered with the precision of someone who definitely color-codes their closet. Monitor store layouts, planograms, and product placement with Category Management to turn those sales into pure gold. Dive into sales data to make sure every square inch of space is working harder than your barista on a Monday morning, all while teaming up with Category Management for max results. Monitor multiple projects (remodels, refreshes, and new builds) with the finesse of a jugglar, making sure nothing drops (except for our jaws, because of how efficient you are). Play the ultimate matchmaker between supply chain, marketing, and field ops, contributing to a dream team like the Avengers (minus the spandex). Champion process improvements that make life easier, cheaper, smoother, and maybe even a little magical for customers and clients alike. What You'll Need Solution-focused thinking. We get 5 minutes to complain, then we fix problems and kick tail! Learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking and meeting deadlines (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!). Act as an agent for change; being flexible and patient, open to suggestions, and have an eye for opportunities to improve processes. Genius-level skills in building relationships with internal teams and external partners. Ability to handle writing emails, chatting with internal teams and outside representatives, and making phone calls with style (and mostly no awkwardness). Requirements 2+ years experience in merchandising, marketing, or business
- basically you've been around the block and know a thing or two. Must consent to and pass a background check, because how else are we supposed to know if you're actually just three skunks in a trench coat or not?? Must be a pro with Microsoft apps
- Excel, Word, Powerpoint, you name it!
If you can do spreadsheets without breaking a sweat, you're golden. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a passion for sightseeing, as there will be travel involved in this role.
